HOYA Vision Care North America is offering current Third and Fourth-Year Optometry Students a chance to win a $500 Grant and an all-expense paid trip to Optometry’s Meeting® in Seattle, WA. The grant winners will also receive an opportunity to win a $5,000 scholarship.

Here’s a quick overview of what you should include in your ePoster.
- Provide an overview of the patient and history (must be HIPAA compliant).
- Provide the results of the exam
- Provide your recommendations
- Provide either the anticipated outcomes/results or the actual results/outcomes
Timing & Judging: Submissions received by May 15, 2015 will be included in this year’s contest. Presentations will be submitted to the designated administrator at each school. You can also contact Mike Elton at mike.elton@HOYAvision.com or Maria Petruccelli at mpetruccelli@HOYAvision.com.
If there is more than one submission from a school, a judge or judging panel, determined by the school, will select the winning case study as the School Grant Winner for that school. School Grant Winners will be notified by June 5, 2015. School Grant Winners will travel courtesy of HOYA to Optometry’s Meeting® in Seattle WA, June 24th-28th, 2015. The final Scholarship winner will be announced at the HOYA Awards Luncheon during the Convention.
Each School Grant Winner will receive a $500 Grant from HOYA Vision Care. School Grant Winners will also receive a trip to Optometry’s Meeting® in Seattle WA, June 24-28, 2015 which includes:
- Round-trip Airfare
- Ground transfers to and from the Hotel
- Lodging during the meeting
- Free meeting registration
- 16GB iPad Air2 WiFi
- $200 pre-paid VISA card
- HOYA Awards Luncheon
The Scholarship Winner will be announced at the HOYA Awards Luncheon. The HOYA Scholarship Winner will be selected by an independent panel of ODs, selected by HOYA. The student with the highest score will receive a $5,000 scholarship from HOYA Vision Care.
