AOSA events range from large-scale national meetings to individual chapter events at each school. We encourage you to get as involved as you can.

As an AOSA member, you are eligible to receive an AOA+ travel grant to Phoenix if you register to attend Optometry’s Meeting by March 31! Grants are available from $500-$1,000 depending on your school location and graduation year. Check out the grant details here.

Are you interested in optometric history? Apply for the Optometric Historical Society's "Blast from the Past" Challenge for a chance to compete for cash prizes. Hosted by Optometry Cares, the AOA Foundation, and the Optometric Historical Society.

 

Supported by the Optometric Historical Society, the AOA+ Blast from the Past Challenge is an education event where 3 student/resident finalists will present on a topic they are passionate about in optometric history and compete for cash prizes based on audience vote. The Optometric Historical Society invites all optometry students and residents to submit an entry about an influential person, event, or development in Optometry History in any form of media.

The Blast from the Past application is open until March 23.

The top three finalists will present during an hour-long Blast from the Past education event that will take place during Optometry’s Meeting.

Student/resident finalists will receive a $1000 stipend to attend and present at Optometry’s Meeting.
