Events

All events hosted by the AOSA are meant to better connect you with this great profession and are aligned with one of our four pillars: Education, Advocacy, Student Experience, and Tools for Success.

AOSA events range from large-scale national meetings to individual chapter events at each school. We encourage you to get as involved as you can.

2019 Student of the Year

AOSA recognizes Optometry Students in their third or fourth year of school who show leadership skills when serving their profession, their patients, and their community.

The AOSA would like to congratulate Aaron Tollett on becoming the second ever AOSA Student of the Year! Aaron is a third year student at Southern College of Optometry who will graduate in 2020. He stands out in many ways because of his leadership, advocacy, local community service, and passion for expanding our scope of practice. Most importantly though, he is a great friend and mentor, helping students and classmates when they need it most. Congratulations Aaron!

Come congratulate Aaron at the 2019 Optometry’s Meeting in St. Louis!
